The plans are to plant a church in an area that has no place for people to assemble and worship with the Saints. We provide Bibles in their own local dialect for those who need them. Christians from established churches on the island assist the local preacher in introducing ourselves, conducting Bible studies, vacation Bible schools for children as well as holding gospel meetings and feeding those that attend. Our goal is to have a self-supporting church in five years. (we began actually working the plan in November 2024)

I want to post pictures of some of the missionaries who are working now to plant a church in Tagabebe. (I was given permission to post pictures of these individuals). We began this work in May, 2024 with the help of these dedicated Christians. We have experienced and are still going through many learning curves, but somehow, we still keep the faith despite all of our mistakes and failures. We know it's God's work and God is in charge, but we are told to work diligently to spread his word, 2 Tim. 4:2. I ask you to pray for the mission, the missionaries and for the church that is being planted, in the name of Jesus, Lord willing.

Jess Rivera is the preacher/ missionary, we hired full-time pictured with some local people he met and is having Bible studies with. Joel Carpio is a longtime missionary who has worked with Prissy for many years and who is overseeing this mission work as well as many other churches on the island. Prissy traveled to Tagabebe in January and is pictured with many of the resident around Tagabebe telling them about our work and upcoming vacation Bible schools, Bible studies that are being conducted and Lord willing, gospel meetings with other preachers from the island in June 2025. Donald Lee and his family are missionaries who have recently joined our team and have been friends with Joel and Prissy for many years.
