Richard L. Mabery has been affiliated with the Flat River/Park Hills Church of Christ for 80 years and has been a member for 68 years.  During those 68 years, he has been an elder, a deacon, lay minister, song leader, class teacher, youth leader, VBS leader, Christian youth camp director, and janitor.  He has done mission work in southeast Missouri, Ghana, West Africa, Scotland, and Russia.

He married Peggy Aubuchon (deceased) in 1956. They were the parents of two children, Jeff (deceased) and Tricia. In 1972 he married Glenda and they are the parents of a son, Matthew.  Richard has 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Richard worked for Pea Ridge Iron Ore Company as an administrative assistant and customer service representative for 40 years.
