James Chaisson
James Chaisson has been preaching the gospel for more than 20 years and has served as the full-time minister at the Park Hills Church of Christ in Park Hills, Missouri, since his family moved here to work with the congregation. His walk with Christ began in his twenties when he was immersed into Christ, and soon after he devoted his life to preaching Jesus Christ crucified and raised from the dead. Early in his journey, a minister from New England took him under his wing and mentored him, helping shape his heart for ministry and his love for the church.
James is deeply committed to both preaching and learning. He holds an Associate in Biblical Studies, a Bachelor of Biblical Studies, and a Doctor of Biblical Studies from Sunset International Bible Institute. He also earned a Master of Arts in Christian and Classical Studies from Knox Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Education in Christian Leadership/Ministry Leadership from Liberty University.
In addition to preaching and teaching, James has written several books and many articles on theology, preaching, and Christian living. His doctoral research focused on transformational leadership and the spiritual growth of members in multicultural Churches of Christ in the United States.
James and his wife are blessed with four children, and together they love serving God and His people. His greatest joy is helping others grow in their walk with Christ and seeing the church built up in faith and love.
