Bill Black
William E. Black is presently serving as an elder with the Church of Christ in Park Hills, Mo. He previously served as a deacon for 25 years at the Church of Christ in Arnold, Mo., working in many areas of the church. He is presently a song leader and treasurer for the church in Park Hills.
He married Caren Sue Pruett in 1961 at the church in Park Hills. He and his family moved from Park Hills (then Flat River) in 1965 and worshiped with the Church of Christ in Arnold for 39 years before moving back in 2004.
He attended Flat River Jr. College (Now Mineral Area College), Washington University and finally the University of Missouri St. Louis, graduating with a Masters Degree in Educational Administration in 1971. He taught for 13 years and worked 18 years as a Principal before retiring.
He has 2 sons, 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandson.
