Who We Are
The Great Commission
Our purpose at the Park Hills Church is to reach people with the life-giving message of Jesus that they might become fully devoted followers of Christ.
A Church Without Walls
Jesus calls for us to go outside the walls of our building to reach the lost and the broken. It is there that the lost will be found. Some religious groups find it comfortable to stay within the walls of their building, but our congregation is about fulfilling the great commission and doing what needs to be done to spread the word.
A Community of Believers
Together we are a community of believers, the family of God. We believe that together in fellowship we grow closer to God and one another. The Bible speaks about iron sharpening iron. We believe that together we grow stronger. We are a community of believers.

What We Believe
We believe that the goal of the church is to save people by preaching the gospel and to help people fall more in love with God and therefore become more fully human. We believe that we are called to reach out to our neighbors both locally and globally and serve them in ways that make a difference. We believe that spiritual practices like prayer, reading the Bible, attending worship service, participating in small groups, and giving are vital to our faith.
01
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, fully God and fully man, that He was conceived and born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, and sacrificed Himself for sinners.
02
God
We believe that there is only one true God who is the Creator, Ruler and Sustainer of the universe. That this one God exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and that these, being the one God, are equal.
03
The Holy Spirit
We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells all Christians at the moment they are baptized into Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit empowers believers for life and ministry.
04
The Bible
We believe the Bible is God’s word to humanity revealing his character and will. God divinely inspired human authors to communicate the values and principles which please Him and are in our best interests. The Bible is accurate, reliable and completely trustworthy. We accept the Bible as our authority in all matters of our faith and practice.
05
Satan
We believe Satan is a real spiritual being; the ultimate personification of evil. He was originally created by God and before the creation of the human race, rebelled against the Creator and became the chief antagonist of God and the human family. While Satan is a powerful being, he is not all powerful, all knowing, or all present. He is a created being who does not have the same power that God does.
06
Resurrection
We believe in the resurrection of the dead. Both the righteous and the unrighteous will be resurrected on the day of judgment. The righteous will live forever with God in glory while the wicked will be cast into hell for eternity.
07
Sin
We believe that Adam was created sinless but chose to sin against God and was cast out of the garden of Eden. From that point on every person who ever lived has followed in his footsteps and chosen to sin against God.
08
Salvation
We believe that salvation is by grace, through faith, in Christ, which includes belief, repentance, and baptism.
09
The Church
We believe that the church is the body of Christ and God's primary instrument through which He is fulfilling His redemptive purposes in the earth.
10
Lord's Supper
We believe that the early church partook of the Lord's supper every Sunday and we strive to follow the example of the early church in every way. The Lord's supper is served every Sunday.
Our Mission
Our mission is to joyfully live our faith, boldly advance Christ’s Kingdom, fervently teach His Word, and lovingly minister to those in need.
God has put in place a vision for the church. We are simply doing our very best to fulfill his wishes and obey his command.
It is our duty to fulfill God's command. We understand that God has placed in front of us a plan of action that we need to stay the course on. We believe that we need to step outside the walls of the church building to reach the lost and broken. God has called us to fellowship together and to go and preach His Word. We hope that you will join us in growing together and reaching this world for Jesus Christ.
